Taking the dress as inspiration you can create a stunning reception incorporating new and old to produce a vintage lace inspired wedding theme. First thinking about fabrics, the lace and satin are both wonderful textures and these should be used in the design.  Think about vintage looking lace table cloths or yes I’m going to say it doilies! Combine these with satin sashes around chairs or perhaps just a simple band of satin ribbon around your napkins.  Think layers, it helps to add texture and adds to the vintage feel, don’t over do it though, sometimes you can have too much of a good thing.
